We invest in, build and operate hydropower plants in China, and are developing two projects in Nepal.

Since 2003 we have invested in and built more than 20 small and mid-sized hydropower plants with a combined capacity of over 700 MW. Some of these plants have since been sold. Our teams cover the full life of an asset: origination and permitting, civil construction, commissioning and long-term operation.

We built or rebuilt four of our current plants. They include the 60 MW Mujiajia I on the Nujiang, which we took over with only the first kilometer of tunnel dug and completed in 2015. Our teams have built and run plants in the Altai Mountains and in the steep valleys of Yunnan and Sichuan, and we bring that mountain experience to Nepal.

How we work

  • /01

    Long-term operator

We finance and engineer every plant for decades of operation, and our own teams run it once it is online.

  • /02

    In-house engineering

Our own construction and operations teams know each plant in detail, from the foundations to the turbines.

  • /03

    Safety and reliability

Our operations hold Grade II certification under China’s national Work Safety Standardization system.
